Vesuvius Palace Aparthotel

The hotel is new, very clean, Lucia was very kind, allways ready to help with all we needed. The town is not such a turistic area, but we found very good restaurants nearby, it´s not so crowdy and price is very good for this standard of hotel. You can get anywhere by the train (although the station is cca 20 min. walk). But the hotel is definitely worth to stay in. There is no restaurant for breakfast, but you can find toasts with jams, honey, croissaints and some small pastry and cookies in your room every day - as well as the coffee and tea - which is all included in the price and added fresh every day. Important for me was the fact that it is very quiet and although it is quite busy street you can hear absolutely no noise from the street and also no noise from other rooms - even when it was fully booked. I absolutely reccomend.

The room was very large and the furnishings were sensational. There were small sweet croissants, jam, and honey, as well as lots of biscuits. The room looks very nice. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the air conditioning is excellent. I particularly liked the staff. The room is cleaned daily. The owner, Lucia, was very nice and helpful. She gave us excellent advice. The vending machine with food and drinks was also practical.

The property was great to stay in and absolutely perfect for what I needed on my trip. Very homely, great air conditioning, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and an amazing terrace out the back with a view of Vesuvius to top it off! Have to say what a great host Lucia was too, was there and greeted on arrival with a full explanation on the room and is very responsive to messages. Lucia also gives plenty of tips and recommendations for the area to make sure you don’t miss anything on your trip and even assisted me with booking travel up to Vesuvius! This hotel was the surprise of our montth long trip to europe. The rooms were exceptionally well finished and reminded me of hotels back in australia. Space was great, beds were about the best we had on our trip and the location was actually fantastic. Unknown to us Ercolano and the area just down the main road are a hotspot for great restaurants with the area known for its gastronomy. Plus it was 7 minutes to Hurculaneum. Staff were fantastic, reserving us a car spot. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

The pictures are real, that is how the rooms look like. Hotel is brand new, we were probably the first visitors who stayed in our apartment. Really nice. The view is either to Vesuvius or to the sea. Location in Ercolano is very good - if you have a car, it is about 20 minutes to Pompei, Vesuvius and old town Naples. And 10 minutes walk to Herculaneum. You can drive to Amalfi coast (about 45 km) or take an organized trip to Positano or to Capri by boat. The shuttle will pick you up in the hotel. All trips are organized by the host, Lucia, who was really kind and friendly. She grew up in Germany and speaks German, Italian and English fluently. We highly recommend this hotel.
